The collection of papers published in the current issue of Financial Sciences includes subjects concerning banking, stock market and social insurance. The most widely represented problems refer to banking and promote such authors as Monika Kołodziej, Arkadiusz Kurasz, Vira Hirnyak and Adam Nosowski. In the area of social and health insurance there appear the works of Kamila Bielawska and Anna Ostrowska-Dankiewicz. The problems of widely understood financial market represent articles written by Krzysztof Waliszewski, Piotr Jaworski and Piotr Mielus. Finally, the paper written by Artur A. Trzebiński combines the ideas of financial market and banking.
