The collection of papers published in the current issue of “Financial Sciences” covers problems from the area of the financial market, the finances of companies, the finances of local government and accounting. The richly represented issues of the financial market include the articles written by L. and D. Dziawgo, A. Fraś, and by M. Wiśniewski. Important questions found in the area of the finances of local government and investments, were investigated by B.Z. Filipiak and M. Dylewski. The functioning and importance of selected principles of accounting were the area of research conducted by A. Piechocka-Kałużna. Some selected issues concerning the finances of companies were presented in the papers written by J. Kaczmarzyk, and by N. Nehrebecka.
